Luckington School Food

Good News

The government is busy telling us how we need to improve nutrition and provide sustainable lunches for our children.

We think we already do more than they ask.  For many years we have been noted for the quality of our school lunches and many parents will remember our children being interviewed on TV to tell the nation how good our food is.

The government kindly provides fruit for all KS1 children at breaktime.  Luckington also provides fruit for KS2 children.  We believe in healthy food.  Our children grow food in our gardens and cook food in our kitchen.

We are lucky that The Old Royal Ship provides us with fresh, pub-cooked food every day.  Much of the food is locally sourced, most is locally cooked. Thank you Helen and staff for looking after us so well.
